03/31/23 Update >> MORE
SNOW IS COMING... We
have incredible snowpack for spring snowtubing, but we have run out of
tubers! There is still over 2 feet of snow on the
hill that Bruce keeps grooming to perfection. Our last session of
the season will be 11 - 1 PM on April Fools Day (4/1). We will add
an extra session if there is adequate demand or you guarantee 20 guests
in your group. This is your last opportunity to use tubing
certificates or gift cards that expire at the end of the 2022 - 2023
. Call the lodge if you need help rebooking
unused 2022-2023
tickets, tubing certificates, or gift cards!

01/10/23 UPDATE >>
This webpage is very thorough and addresses nearly 20 years of
questions. This entire section was reviewed and verified as
correct/complete on 01/10/23. Please use it as a resource before calling the lodge.
Patrons and guests will receive the same answers over the phone.
Please note that all non-private
reservations will be online this year. Private snowtubing using the
Friends and Family Package must still be booked via telephone. Be advised that 2021-2022
snowtubing gift cards and certificates expired last spring when we closed for the year.
After 01/03/23, the tubing hill will operate on weekends, holidays, Friday nights, and privately
during non-public sessions for the remainder of
2022-2023 season. Public sessions reservation should be made online
after
11/28/22.
New pricing, sign-up procedures, group packages and policies due to the Covid-19 pandemic
have been updated. These changes supersede all previous
announcements. Please understand that the changes are intended to
improve the safety of our operation for both our guests and our employees.

We cap the number of guests on the tubing hill at 65 per session, so "unscheduled extras" in your group may be waiting for the next
available session. We do not "share tubes" between multiple
participants (so please do not ask).
Snowtubing tickets are $24 (cash) or $25 (credit or debit card) per person
for a 1½ hour session. The cost of the ticket includes the use of our
snow tubes and rope tow. All snowtubers, including children under 42 inches and
three year olds. are the same price.
Children 2 and under are free, but must ride with a paid adult.
Minors under 42 inches must ride with a
paid adult. All tubers under 100 pounds must ride on the smaller
forest green tubes (no exceptions). Starting times for public sessions, as well as additional
snow tubing information, are discussed below. Private group sessions
and private birthday sessions (outside our normal operating times) may be
booked "space available" using the Friends and Family Package.
Online reservations are easy to make. The safe and secure system is provided by FareHarbor. Please
follow the prompts when making your reservations. The cash payment
option is still available. Please note that your card will be
charged $1 for each cash ticket purchased and the full amount of your
reservation will be authorized. This secures our payment in the
event of a "no show". At check-in, you will be responsible for the $24
cash
per ticket that has been reserved. Reservations held or booked
online indicates acceptance of all terms and conditions posted on this website.
Credit and debit card transactions are processed at the time
of booking. Reservations may not be decreased or have the session time changed once booked.
Cancellation of reservations due to Covid requires a doctor's
verification and does not include your entire party. Individual snowtubing reservations
cancelled due to Covid will be manually issued a gift
certificate that will be valid after Presidents Day (2/20/23) until
the close of the 2022-2023 season. Unused, previous season reservation certificate(s) are no longer valid.
They had to be used during the season in which they were issued. The old certificates have no cash value.
Private tubes, sleds, sliding devices, snowboards, skis, and other similar equipment are not allowed
anywhere on property owned and operated by Bear Creek Lodge. We are strictly a snow tubing operation.
The first session of the day is designated “Early Bird” and is highly recommended for small groups, birthday parties, and young children.
The 10 AM - Noon and 6 - 8 PM sessions (when available) are considered "value sessions"
as they each have an extra half hour of snowtubing.
Registration is currently upstairs (on the restaurant/bathroom level) due to
staffing issues. Sign-in begins
45 minutes prior to the start of the session.
To speed up registration, we suggest that you download and properly fill out the
Liability Release Form
prior to arrival. Please note that the form has two pages to
print, particularly if you are using a phone or tablet. The individual presenting final
payment assumes all liability that the information presented on the
Liability Release Form is true and correctly filled out.
The 4:30 - 6 PM and 6 - 8 PM sessions are an excellent time for large groups to book on the tubing hill.
Please
refer to our Family &
Friends Package for private time on the hill after 6 PM).
A single payment is required for all group pricing. Catering for group
events includes cornbread and chili or a pasta feed.
These are currently the only group catering menu options offered during the 2022 - 2023
season.
